Faults
Somebody notices the heater by the stage is not working, tells somebody, who forgets. Now they report it: hirers from Your account in their app, committee members from the Faults screen here or from Compliance in the committee app. They say what is wrong and where, and can add photos.
The committee members who look after that hall are emailed straight away, and those with notifications on get it on their phones (“Faults reported” in the Notifications panel).
Each fault stays on the Faults screen as Open, In hand or Fixed, with a note of what is being done — “electrician booked for Tuesday” — until somebody marks it fixed. Fixed ones are kept, for the record and the insurers.
For example: At the Tuesday yoga class the teacher sees the kitchen tap will not turn off. She opens the hall’s app, reports it with a photo, and the key holder’s phone buzzes. He marks it In hand, “plumber Thursday”, and Fixed on Thursday afternoon.
Questions people ask
Can anybody on the website report one?
No: hirers signed in to their app, and committee members. That keeps out spam and anonymous complaints.
