New customers from booking requests

Choose what happens when somebody sends a booking request from your website or app.

  • Add straight away (the usual): the customer and pet go into your clients as the request arrives. If a client with the same email already exists, the request goes on their account.
  • Add when I confirm: the name, email, phone and pet stay on the request only. Nothing is added to your clients unless you confirm it, so a request you turn down leaves nothing behind. When you confirm, the customer and pet are added, using an existing client with the same email if there is one, or the client you chose on the booking.

FAQ

Can somebody attach a pet to another customer by typing their email?
With Add when I confirm, nothing joins an existing account until you have looked at the request and confirmed it.
