The Pavilion bar

The dark bar across the top of every Pavilion screen is how you get around. From left to right:

1 Pavilion The Pavilion logo and name at the left-hand end. Press it to go back to the Pavilion dashboard from anywhere. The bar is always at the very top of a Pavilion screen, above any messages.
2 The day-to-day menus Bookings, Rota, Members, Competition and the rest. Point at one, or press it, to open its menu. The menu you are in has a bar underneath it.
3 Settings On the right, apart from the rest: the club’s settings and the admin tools — Automations, Validation Rules, Approvals, the Setup Wizard, Health Check, Backups, the Audit Trail and Settings itself. Where a guide says Admin Tools → Approvals, this is the menu it means.
4 Alerts, search and help The bell, the magnifying glass and the question mark, then the stars for your favourite pages.
5 Your plan The rounded label at the far right says which Pavilion plan this site is on — Basic, Standard or Premium. For whoever manages the site it opens the Licensing screen.

On a narrower screen the menus show as pictures rather than words to keep the bar on one line. Point at a picture and its name appears.

Common questions

Where did the Tools menu go?
It is the Settings menu at the right-hand end of the bar now. Everything that was in it is still there, in the same order, under the heading Settings and Admin Tools.
The plan label says Basic but we pay for Pavilion Pro.
The label shows the plan the site is running at this moment. If your licence has not been checked lately, or has lapsed, Pavilion runs as Basic until it is confirmed. Press the label (or open Settings → Licensing) and use Re-check now.
Why can I not press the plan label?
Only somebody who manages the site can open the Licensing screen, so for everybody else the label is just a label.
