How a prospective club’s visit to your public demo turns into a real name on the Keen2Support → Usage screen — end to end.
1 They arrive at the demo A visitor opens your public demo at
/demo/. Before they go in, the login asks for their name and email, with a short consent line explaining you’ll use it to follow up and to see which screens they open.2 They enter the sandbox They fill in the gate and click “Enter the demo”. Name + email given → Pavilion identifies them to the hub, so they show as a real person under “Who’s here now”. Left blank → they still get in, but appear only as an anonymous short id until they complete the gate.
3 They explore As they open Bookings, Members, Accounts and so on, Pavilion quietly records each feature they land on — using the same names your licence tiers use, so the hub’s heatmap lines up with what each plan unlocks.
4 You watch it live On the hub, open Keen2Support → Usage. You’ll see who’s on right now, their current screen and how long they’ve been there, plus most-used screens and logins by day of week building up over time.
5 It cleans up after itself The demo keeps resetting on its schedule, and the hub prunes usage stats after its retention window — so nothing is kept longer than you need to gauge interest.
💡 Tip: This only runs on a site in demo mode, and every send is non-blocking — a slow hub never delays the demo. Real club installs send nothing.
