How to close the green quickly and let everyone know.
1 Call the rain-off On the green status / rain-off control, mark the green closed.
2 Everyone is told The closure shows on the TV display, the members’ app and your website, and a notification goes out to members.
3 What about today’s bookings? Decide how to handle the rinks already booked. Clear them → cancel the day’s bookings so the grid is free when play can resume. Leave them → keep them if it is a passing shower and you expect play to continue shortly.
4 Reopen the green When it dries out, clear the rain-off and normal booking resumes immediately.
💡 Tip: A rain-off is instant and reversible — flip the green closed and open again as the weather changes, and members always see the current status.
