What it does

Reminders 30 and 7 days before expiry by default, plus an optional one after
No card numbers type, last four and expiry date only
Runs on the WHMCS daily cron nothing separate to set up
Native emails uses the WHMCS email templates and mail system
Client visibility a dashboard panel and an optional site-wide banner
Admin controls test mode on by default, duplicate prevention, run history
Routing Slack and Teams notifications as well as email

A declined renewal is a support ticket, a suspension and an awkward email. This emails the client before the card stored against their account expires, so the next automatic payment goes through.

It never reads a card number – only the type, the last four digits and the expiry date, straight from the gateway API.
