A declined renewal is a support ticket, a suspension and an awkward email. This emails the client before the card stored against their account expires, so the next automatic payment goes through.

It never reads a card number – only the type, the last four digits and the expiry date, straight from the gateway API.

Features

Everything it does

  • Reminders 30 and 7 days before expiry by default, plus an optional one after
  • No card numbers Type, last four and expiry date only
  • Runs on the WHMCS daily cron Nothing separate to set up
  • Native emails Uses the WHMCS email templates and mail system
  • Client visibility A dashboard panel and an optional site-wide banner
  • Admin controls Test mode on by default, duplicate prevention, run history
  • Routing Slack and Teams notifications as well as email
