⭐ ModuleFest Pavilion Pro

Pavilion comes as two plugins that work together. Pavilion is free and has everything on the Basic plan. Pavilion Pro sits alongside it and carries every Standard and Premium feature — the accounts, the till, greens care, the officers’ app and the rest. Your licence decides which of them are switched on, so moving from Standard to Premium is a licence change, not a reinstall.

Getting Pro

  • If you already run Standard or Premium, Pavilion installs Pro for you on the next admin page after an update. Nothing stops working at any point: until Pro is running, your current package already has every feature.
  • If you have just bought Standard or Premium, open Tools → Licensing, fetch your licence if it is not showing yet, and press Install Pavilion Pro.

If it cannot install itself

The Licensing screen says why — usually that the site is not linked to ModuleFest yet, or that the host does not allow WordPress to install plugins. Once that is sorted, press the button to try again. Your data is never touched; Pro only switches features on.

Updates

Pro updates through the same channel as Pavilion, and follows Pavilion’s own “Update automatically” setting, so the two always stay in step.

If your site runs Pavilion from WordPress.org

Pavilion is also in the WordPress.org plugin directory, as ModuleFest Pavilion. Pavilion Pro works with that copy too: install and activate Pro alongside it and Pro joins it by itself. Only the features your licence covers are loaded, so there are no padlocks, and the Pavilion Pro page in the menu becomes your licence screen. ModuleFest Pavilion updates from WordPress.org; Pro updates from ModuleFest.

Common questions

Do I lose anything if Pro is switched off?
No data at all. The Standard and Premium screens show a padlock until Pro is back, and everything you entered is there when it returns. If you switch Pro off on the Plugins screen, Pavilion leaves it off until you switch it back on.
Do I need Pro on the free Basic plan?
No. Pavilion on its own is the whole of Basic.
I installed ModuleFest Pavilion from WordPress.org. Can I add Pro?
Yes. Upload and activate Pavilion Pro as usual, then open the Pavilion Pro page to link the site and fetch your licence. The first page after activating says Pro is joining; reload it and the features your plan covers appear.
Does installing Pro send anything new to ModuleFest?
No. It asks for the download with the same site link that updates already use, and ModuleFest only provides it to a site whose licence includes it.
