Sponsors and advertisers

Put the businesses who support the club in front of members and visitors: on the club website, on the clubhouse TV and in the members’ app. Pavilion counts every time somebody follows a sponsor’s link, which is a useful number to have when the sponsorship comes up for renewal.

1 Add a sponsor Go to Comms → Sponsors. Give them a name, a line about them if you like, their website and their logo (any image from the media library).
2 Choose the dates Set From and Until to match what they paid for. Outside those dates they stop showing on their own. Leave both empty to show them until you pause them.
3 Choose where they show Tick the club website, the clubhouse TV and the members’ app, in any mix.
4 The website Put [pvl_sponsors] on a page for a grid of logos with a line each, or [pvl_sponsors layout="strip"] for a single row of logos, for a footer or the home page.
5 The TV In TV Display, drag the Our Sponsors panel onto the screen. It shows each sponsor in turn, eight seconds each.
6 The members’ app One sponsor appears on the Club page of the app, a different one each time it is opened.

Common questions

What does the Taps number count?
Every time somebody followed the sponsor’s link from the website, the TV page or the app. It counts people going to the sponsor, not people who only saw the logo.
How do I stop showing a sponsor without losing their details?
Edit them and untick Showing. Their details and tap count stay, ready for next season.
Do sponsor links tell search engines anything?
They are marked as sponsored links, which is what search engines ask for, so the club’s website is not penalised for them.
