Posting a network issue

A service on a cPanel server shows the cPanel tools under Usage once the account is active, plus an Open cPanel button. Choosing a tool signs the customer in and, where the server allows it, lands straight on that tool's page; otherwise it lands on the cPanel home, from which every tool is one tap away. Open cPanel always lands on the home. The sign-in uses the account's own credentials that WHMCS already holds, so no password is typed and no special server privilege is needed. Deep-linking to a tool depends on the cPanel server returning a tokenised login it will honour; some servers, particularly shared ones that lock a session to the requesting address, only allow the home, which is why Open cPanel is always there as the dependable route.
