Guide: Get clients onto the app
The announcement, the install, and what to do about iPhones.

- Set the app address Point a subdomain such as app.yourhosting.com at the app and use it everywhere. A short address is the difference between people typing it and people giving up.
- Write the announcement Lead with what changes for them: pay an invoice in two taps, get told when something breaks. Include one screenshot of the home screen and the app address.
- Cover the iPhone path explicitly Android and desktop offer to install the app on their own. iPhone users must use Share, then Add to Home Screen. Say so in the announcement or half your iOS clients will never install it.
- Ask for notifications after the first sign-in The app waits until someone has looked around before asking. Permission asked too early is permission denied permanently.
- Watch the device list in week one Registered devices tell you whether the install actually happened. Flat numbers usually mean the announcement, not the app.
