Changing a domain setting

A domain screen has a Settings section with three switches you can change yourself: auto-renew, WHOIS privacy and the transfer lock. Each shows its current state and flips when tapped, going straight to your account with the host. Auto-renew on means an invoice is raised before the domain is due so it does not lapse; turning it off means you will need to renew by hand. WHOIS privacy hides your personal contact details from public registration lookups where the registry allows it. The transfer lock protects the domain from being moved to another registrar without being unlocked first, which is a sensible default to leave on until you actually intend to transfer. The switches work while the domain is active. Moving a domain to another registrar and editing nameservers are handled in your account on the website, as they carry more weight than a single tap should.
