Printing the daily rink sheet

The Rink sheet button in the steward toolbar prints the day the dashboard is showing as a landscape sheet for the clipboard by the door: every session down the page, every rink across, and for each one who booked it, everybody playing, and any notes left with the booking.

Guests appear in the playing list in bold, marked as guests, with fee paid or fee due beside them — so the person on the door can see at a glance who still owes, without going near a screen.

Where a booking recorded a headcount but not everybody’s name, the sheet says how many more to expect rather than leaving them off, because the point of the sheet is knowing who is coming.

A booking that lines up with no session — somebody who booked a flexible time — is listed underneath as Also booked today with its own times.

Common questions

Can I print tomorrow, or last Saturday?

Yes. Move the dashboard to the day you want with the arrows first; the sheet always follows the date on screen and prints that date at the top.

It says the day is still loading.

The sheet is built from the figures already on the dashboard, so it needs those to have arrived. Give it a moment after opening the screen, or press Refresh.

Roll-ups and matches are on it.

On purpose — a rink taken by a roll-up or a home friendly is not available, and a sheet that showed it blank would have somebody put on top of it.

It is too wide.

It prints landscape by design. If your printer is defaulting to portrait, check the orientation in the print dialog.
