🧠Setting up the Officers’ app
Give your committee a dashboard app they can install on their phones and use to run the club day-to-day.
1Enable it
Under Settings → System → Devices → Officers’ App, switch the app on and give it a name (for example “Anytown BC Officers”).

2Create the page
Add a page containing
[pvl_officer_app], or let Pavilion create the “Officers” page for you. Keep the link handy to share with the committee.↓
?Check who has access
The officers’ app is administrator-only.
The right people are administrators They can open it straight away; everyone else is sent to the members’ app. | Someone needs access Give their account the WordPress Administrator role (Users → Edit) — only administrators can sign in to this app. |

4Install it
On the same Devices page, scan the officers’ app QR code (marked “Admin only”) with your phone camera to open the app, then add it to the home screen (iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen; Android: menu → Install app). It then opens full-screen like a native app. Keep that code to admins rather than sharing it publicly.

5Use it daily
Open the app for the dashboard, check today’s bookings and this week’s rota gaps, tap the members or renewals tiles to look someone up, and tap “Waiting on you” to clear approvals — approving a claim there records it exactly as the web admin would.
💡 Tip: Only administrators can sign in, so the officers’ QR code is shown to admins only — keep it separate from the members’ code, which is the one safe to share widely.
