A tick-list for opening a new bowls season so bookings, fees and stats all line up.
1Set the season dates
In Settings, set the season start and end so bookings, renewals and statistics use the right year.

2Check rinks and sessions
Confirm your rinks and the weekly session pattern (roll-ups, club sessions, competition slots) are right for the year ahead.

3Set this year’s fees
Update membership fees under Settings → Fees so renewals charge the correct amount for each membership type.
↓
4Send renewals
From Members → Renewals, send every member their renewal request in one go.
↓
5Block out closed dates
Add blackouts for maintenance, finals day or private hire so nobody can book the green when it is closed.
💡 Tip: Do these in order — setting the season dates first means renewals and the booking grid automatically pick up the right period.
