🧠Signing up a new member
From first enquiry to a playing member — here is the whole journey.
1Application comes in
The applicant fills in your join form (the
[pvl_join] page). Their details arrive under Members → Applications.↓
?Review it
Open the application and decide.
Approve → a member record is created and they move into your members list. | Decline → they are notified politely and no account is created. |

3Set up their membership
Choose their membership type and number, and record any joining or pro-rata fee due.
↓
4Welcome them
Send the welcome email with their login so they can use the members’ app, read the noticeboard and book rinks.
↓
5First sign-in and booking
They sign in on the tablet and book their first rink. That’s it — they’re a fully set-up member.
💡 Tip: Turn on self-service joining by adding the
[pvl_join] shortcode to a public page, so enquiries flow straight into Applications.
