🧠A member books a rink from the app
How a member books their own rink from the members’ app or portal.
1Open the app
The member opens the members’ app on their phone (or the booking page on your site).

2Pick a day and rink
They choose the date and see which rinks and times are free on the booking grid.
↓
3Who is playing, and when
They name the others in their group — members picked from the list count as members, a typed name is a guest. The app also asks what time they will be on the rink, filled in with the session start, so arriving on time needs no thought.

?Anything blocking it?
Booking rules are checked automatically.
All clear → the booking is confirmed and shows in their “My bookings”. | Blocked → they’re told why (green closed, session full, too far ahead) and can pick another slot. |

5Arriving later than the slot?
If they say a later time, the club is told: the booking joins the steward’s Arrival checks, so the empty part of the slot can be offered to somebody or the group carried on to the next session.

6Reminder
They can get a reminder before their game, and the booking appears on the clubhouse TV and the steward’s dashboard.
↓
7On the day
They tap their booking on the sign-in tablet — one tap signs them in and marks them as coming to bowl.
💡 Tip: Set your booking window and any per-member limits under Settings → Booking. If you want everybody in a group named before a booking will save, that is Settings → Booking Rules → Player names.
