๐Ÿ“Š Till reports

Takings over any period, broken down the ways a club committee actually asks about them.

  • By category โ€” where the money comes from, with each category’s share of the total.
  • By item โ€” what actually sells, and what each line earns once its cost is taken off.
  • Day by day โ€” which days are worth opening for.
  • Busiest times โ€” genuinely useful when working out how many people are needed behind the bar.
  • Payment split โ€” cash, card and on-account, which is also what reconciles against your card machine statements. A sale settled across more than one method contributes its parts separately, so the figures stay true.

Margin figures only appear where a cost price has been entered against an item. Filling those in โ€” or letting deliveries do it for you โ€” turns this from a takings report into a genuine picture of what each line earns the club.

Everything can be printed, and exported to CSV either as whole sales or line by line for a spreadsheet.

Common questions

Why is the margin column empty?
No cost prices have been entered. Add them on the price list, or fill in the cost when you book a delivery in and it updates the item for you.
Do voided sales appear?
No โ€” voided sales are excluded from every total. Refunds are included, as negative amounts, because that money genuinely left the club.
Can I report on one till only?
The Z report for each session is per till. The range reports cover every till together, which is normally what a treasurer wants.
