📖 Guest Log
The Guest Log records all non-member visitors signed in by a member to play at the club. It helps satisfy insurance requirements and track guest fees.
Who can sign in guests?
- Full Members — up to 2 guests per visit
- Winter Members — up to 2 guests per visit
- Sports Members — cannot sign in guests
- Social Members — cannot sign in guests (non-playing)
💷 Transactions on the member record
Each member’s profile carries a Transactions section — every money movement for that member in one date-ordered list: till purchases and refunds (with the receipt number and what was bought), membership renewals, payment requests, online payments and account charges. Three tiles at the top summarise till spend over the last 12 months, payments received, and any outstanding balance (highlighted red when money is owed, with “£x paid so far” shown against partly paid charges). Filter the list to just till activity or just payments & charges with the buttons above it; the newest 15 show first, with a button to reveal the full history.
Each entry records: guest name, signing-in member, date of visit, guest fee collected, and notes. The log can be filtered by date and exported as CSV.
Common questions
- Can the same person be a guest multiple times?
- Yes — the guest log records each visit independently. There is no automatic limit on repeat visits, though club rules may apply.
- Where do members sign in guests?
- Members sign in guests via the admin Guest Log tab, or from the member portal if the [pvl_my_profile] shortcode page is set up.
