✉️ Get Updates and About ModuleFest
Pavilion is made by ModuleFest. If you would like to hear about new features, tips and update notes, you can ask for the Pavilion newsletter from inside Pavilion. It is entirely up to you: nothing in Pavilion depends on it.
Where the card is
- On the Pavilion dashboard, for site administrators, until you sign up or choose Don’t show again.
- On About → About ModuleFest, always.
Signing up
- Check your name and email. They are filled in from your WordPress account, and you can change both.
- Tick the box. It says exactly what is sent: your name, your email, this site’s address and that it is for Pavilion.
- Press Subscribe. ModuleFest emails you a link; press it to confirm. Nothing more is sent until you do.
Nothing leaves your site until you press Subscribe with the box ticked: not when Pavilion is installed, not on a timer, and not when you choose Not now or Don’t show again. Pavilion keeps only whether you signed up, dismissed the card or asked to be reminded. It does not keep your email.
Not now and Don’t show again
Not now hides the card for 30 days. Don’t show again hides it from the dashboard for good, and updates do not bring it back.
Changing your mind
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. The Change or leave your ModuleFest newsletters link under the card opens the newsletter page on modulefest.com, where you can choose which plugins you hear about or leave the list.
About ModuleFest
The About ModuleFest page lists our other free plugins on WordPress.org. More details opens WordPress’s own plugin window, so anything you install comes from WordPress.org through the normal Plugins screen.
Common questions
- Do I have to sign up to use any part of Pavilion?
- No. Every feature works the same whether you sign up or not.
- I pressed Subscribe but no email came.
- Check your spam folder for the ModuleFest confirmation. If it is not there after a few minutes, try again from the card or sign up on the newsletter page on modulefest.com.
- Who sees the card?
- Only site administrators, and only on Pavilion’s own screens. Members and volunteers never see it.
