Job templates
Save the jobs you do often, with the usual details, how long they take and the lines you charge. When you start a new job, pick the template and it fills itself in. A quote for that job starts with the template’s lines, and on any quote or invoice you can add a template’s lines with one choice.
For example: “Combi boiler service”: 60 minutes, “Annual service and flue gas analysis” £85, “Service certificate” £0. A new job from it is ready to book; its quote is ready to send.
Questions people ask
If I change a template, do old jobs change?
No. A template only fills things in; jobs, quotes and invoices keep what they were given.
