In the staff app
The Today screen shows today’s high and low with what the heat means for the dogs. Tap it for conditions now, hour by hour, the pavement temperature and the dogs booked today who feel heat first. Tap Week for the next seven days. Both are live while they are open.
FAQ
Where does the forecast come from?
Open-Meteo, a free weather service. Only your location is sent to it, never anything about your clients or pets.
How often is the forecast fetched?
Once a day at the time you choose, then every 3 or 6 hours if you want. Every hour is not offered, to keep the data used down. The weather screens in the app fetch the latest when you open them, at most every ten minutes.
Does it fill in the heat check?
Yes. The Heat & pavement check starts from today’s high, in your chosen units, and shows roughly how hot the pavement gets in sun. You can still type a different temperature.
