🖼️ FooGallery Integration

Media Library Manager integrates with FooGallery ↗ to let you create galleries directly from cloud-imported images.

Workflow:

  1. Connect a cloud provider (Settings & Stats → Cloud tab)
  2. Browse and import images via the Cloud Import section on the Media Manager page
  3. A purple bar appears: “X image(s) imported this session”
  4. Click 🖼️ Create FooGallery from Imported Images
  5. Enter a gallery name, choose a template, optionally create a page
  6. Click ✨ Create Gallery

Templates: Default, Simple Portfolio, Justified Gallery, Masonry, Thumbnail Grid.

If a page is created, it contains the shortcode [foogallery id="X"] in a Gutenberg block as a draft ready to publish.

Questions people ask

Do I need FooGallery installed?
FooGallery is recommended but not required. If it is not active, the gallery is created as a draft WordPress post with FooGallery metadata attached. Install FooGallery and the gallery will work immediately.

Can I add more images to a gallery later?
Yes — edit the gallery in FooGallery’s admin interface (Posts → FooGallery) and add any WordPress media library images you want.

Does the gallery include all images from the session or just selected ones?
All images imported during the current browser session are included. The count is shown in the purple summary bar. Refresh the page to start a new session.

Where do I find the gallery shortcode?
After creation, the modal shows the shortcode [foogallery id=”X”]. You can also find it by editing the gallery post in WordPress admin.
