🤖 Auto-Scan Schedule
The auto-scan runs a full library scan automatically on a schedule, so your unlinked files list is always up to date without manual intervention.
Results are cached — the main screen loads instantly using the last scan’s data. A fresh scan only runs at the scheduled time or when you click 🔍 Run Full Scan.
Daily is recommended for sites with active content teams. Weekly suits smaller or less frequently updated sites.
Questions people ask
Will the scan affect site performance?
Scans run via WordPress cron, which fires in the background when a visitor loads a page. There is no noticeable impact on front-end performance.
What time does “Daily” run?
You can choose the exact hour and minute in the schedule settings. The first run is calculated from the time you save.
Can I cancel a scheduled scan job?
Yes — click the 🗑 Cancel Job button next to the schedule to remove the cron hook. The schedule settings are preserved so you can re-enable it any time.
