Lost property
Lost property (under The building) is the hall’s lost property box, written down: what was found, where and when, who found it and where it is kept, with a photo if you like. On every plan.
Who left it? Beside each thing, ModuleFest HallPro lists the hires that ended in that room on the day it was found or the day before, latest first. Press Ask them to email the hirer that it was found after their hire, with how to reach you. Each hirer asked is marked, so nobody is asked twice.
Claimed or given away. When someone collects it, note who and press Claimed. Things nobody claims are marked Kept long enough after the weeks you set in Settings (twelve unless you change it), ready for the charity shop; press Given away when they go. Everything claimed or given away stays listed under Claimed or gone.
On your website. Put [hallpro_lost_property] on a page to list what is in the box and when it was found, with the words from Settings about how to reach you. Photos, where it was found and who found it are not shown.
For example: On Sunday morning the cleaner finds a child’s red cardigan in the main hall and adds it on her phone. Lost property shows that the Saturday afternoon party was the last hire in that room. The secretary presses Ask them; the mother replies that evening and collects it on Tuesday, noted as Claimed.
Questions people ask
What about valuables: a phone, a purse, keys?
Keep them locked away, say where under Kept where, and ask the person claiming to describe them before handing them over. Anything valuable left unclaimed can be handed to the police.
Why does no hire show?
Only confirmed, invoiced and paid hires ending on the day it was found or the day before, in the room it was found in, are listed. Choose Not one room to see every hire from those days.
