Moving from Cron-Sentry

ModuleFest Cron Monitor is the new name for Cron-Sentry. When you activate it on a site that had Cron-Sentry:

  1. Your settings, guarded and paused tasks, custom schedules and run history are copied across.
  2. Cron-Sentry is deactivated so the two never run at once. You can then delete it; that removes only its old copies of the data.
  3. A notice shows your new cron trigger URL. If a server crontab or uptime monitor calls the old /wp-json/cronsentry/v1/run URL, change it to the new /wp-json/mfcs/v1/run one. Your secret key is unchanged.
  4. On the command line, use wp cronmonitor instead of wp cronsentry.
