Glossary
- Hook
- The named action a scheduled task fires (e.g. woocommerce_scheduled_sales).
- Schedule
- How often a task recurs — hourly, twicedaily, daily, or a custom interval; “single” means it runs once.
- Stall threshold
- How long a task may run before Cron Monitor treats it as stuck and force-closes it.
- Heartbeat endpoint
- The secret URL an external scheduler hits to drive cron on an exact interval.
