Maintenance plans

Sell yearly care as a small monthly Direct Debit: steady money every month, and customers who stay with you. Customers join from your website or you add them; they set up the Direct Debit on GoCardless’s own secure pages, paid into your own GoCardless account. Their visits are booked in for you, and each payment shows up as a paid invoice.

For example: Boiler care, £12 a month: the annual service plus priority call-outs. 80 customers is £960 coming in every month, and 80 services booked in through the year.

What does GoCardless cost?
GoCardless charges you a small fee per payment; see their pricing page. TradePro adds nothing.

What if a payment fails?
The plan shows “Payment failed” and you get an email. If the customer cancels their Direct Debit, the plan stops and its future visits are taken out of the diary.

Someone pays another way
Use “Paid another way” on their plan to start it without a Direct Debit, then invoice them as usual.
