Customers

One record per person or business you work for. The address here is used for a job unless you give the job its own, which is handy for landlords with several properties.

For example: A letting agent is one customer. Each flat they send you to is the job address on that job.

Can I delete a customer?
Only once they have no jobs, so your history never loses who a job was for.

A landlord has several properties. Where do they go?
Open the landlord’s customer record and use “Add a property” for each address, with a tenant or contact and any access notes. When you book a job for them, choose the property under “Where”. Quotes and invoices still go to the landlord, with the property’s address shown as where the work is.
