Job profit and timesheets

See what each job really made. Time is recorded when an engineer taps “I’m on site” and then “Job done” in the app; parts used from stock count at what you paid for them; expenses and purchase orders put against a job count too. Add each person’s cost per hour once, and every job shows its profit.

For example: Bathroom refit invoiced at £2,400 before VAT. Dan 22 hours at £18, Sam 10 hours at £14, parts £640, skip hire £180: profit £1,024, a 43% margin.

Lo que nos suelen preguntar

What counts as the cost per hour?
What a person costs you for an hour of work: their pay plus things like employer’s National Insurance and pension. For yourself, put what you’d want to earn per hour, or leave it at nothing to see the job’s profit before your own time.

Someone forgot to tap “Job done”
Open the job and fix the time under “Cost and profit”. A timer left running for more than 12 hours is ended at 12 hours.

No time recorded?
Then the booked length of the job is used for the person it was given to, and the job says “estimated”.
