đź”’ Privacy & External Services

Media Library Manager works inside your own WordPress site. It sends no analytics, usage data or site details to its developers, and nothing in it is locked or time-limited.

It only talks to an outside service when you set that service up, with your own account and keys:

  • Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive — after you add your own app keys and click Connect. Files go to your storage when you back up, import or create a folder.
  • Amazon S3 and S3-compatible storage (R2, B2, Wasabi, Spaces) — after you enter your bucket and keys. Backups are signed with your keys on your server.
  • FTP/SFTP, WebDAV — only the server you enter.
  • External / Local Drive (this edition only) — writes only to the server folder you enter; nothing leaves the server.
  • Dead Link Scanner — links to other websites are only checked when you tick “Check external links”, and only with a HEAD request (just the address, no data).
  • Plugin details (About ModuleFest) — View details opens WordPress’s own plugin window, which WordPress loads from WordPress.org, only when you click it.
  • ModuleFest newsletter — only if you tick the box and press Subscribe on the Get updates card: your name, email, this site’s address and the plugin name and version go to ModuleFest (support.modulefest.com) so we can send the news you asked for.

Keen2Support hub (this edition only): when you link the site under Support → Link now, Media Library Manager contacts the Keen2Support hub for tickets and update checks; anonymous usage statistics are sent only if you also tick the opt-in on the About page.

Cloud tokens and keys are stored in your WordPress database. Disconnect a provider to remove its tokens; deleting the plugin removes all Media Library Manager settings, logs and tokens. Your media files are never deleted by uninstalling.

Perguntas frequentes

Does Media Library Manager phone home or collect statistics?
No. It does not check in with the developer for updates, accounts or analytics. The only outside connections are the services you connect yourself.

Where are my cloud keys kept?
In your WordPress database, in Media Library Manager options. Disconnecting a provider removes its tokens, and deleting the plugin removes everything Media Library Manager stored.

Does the dead link scanner visit other websites?
Only if you tick “Check external links”. It then sends a HEAD request to each linked site to see whether the page still exists. Links to your own site are checked locally.
