Import and export

Bring your customers or your price list across from a spreadsheet or your old software: save it as a CSV file, upload it, and match its columns to TradePro’s. You can download everything in TradePro as CSV files at any time, which open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

For example: Old software lets you export “Contacts.csv”. Upload it here, check that “Mobile” is matched to Phone and “Post Code” to Postcode, and import. Anyone already in TradePro with the same email address is left as they are, or updated if you choose.

Spørsmål folk stiller

A customer asked for their data, or asked to be forgotten.
Use WordPress’s own tools under Tools → Export Personal Data and Tools → Erase Personal Data, with their email address. TradePro includes their customer record, jobs, quotes and invoices. Erasing removes their contact details but keeps invoices, which you need to keep for tax.

My spreadsheet has accents or £ signs that come out wrong.
Save it as “CSV UTF-8” if your spreadsheet offers it. TradePro also reads the older Windows format and converts it.
