Record every certificate you issue and attach the PDF from your certificate software or app. TradePro works out the expiry, reminds you and the customer before it runs out, and one click books the renewal as a job. Landlords get every certificate for every property in their portal.

For example: Landlord gas safety record for 14 Elm Road, issued 3 March, so it expires 2 March next year. Reminders go 60, 30 and 14 days before. The landlord books, you go back, record the new one — and the old one stops reminding.

How long does each last?
Gas safety and boiler services 12 months, EICRs 5 years for rented homes, EPCs 10 years. Leave “Expires” blank to use these, or type the date on the certificate.
