🏷️ The new name (formerly MediaVault)

From version 4.22.0 this plugin is called ModuleFest Media Library Manager. It was called MediaVault; the name changed because another plugin in the WordPress.org directory has a very similar name, and two similar names for two different plugins would confuse people.

Only the name and logo changed. Your settings, Recycle Bin, folders, tags, cleanup rules, cloud connections and audit trail are all kept, and every screen is where it was. The menu is now listed after WordPress’s own menu items (below Settings) rather than next to Media.

The narrated video guides were remade under the new name in October 2026 (with a new one on duplicates, folders and cleanup rules); the old MediaVault videos have been taken down.

New screen addresses (4.22.6)

From version 4.22.6 the web addresses of the plugin’s screens use the new name too: admin.php?page=mlm-manager, mlm-media-manager, mlm-tools, mlm-settings, mlm-about, mlm-modulefest and mlm-support, where they used to start mediavault-. Old bookmarks and links still work: they are forwarded to the new address.

Cloud backup: the Redirect URI shown in Settings & Stats → Cloud backup changed with the addresses. A connection you have already made keeps working. If you connect Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive again, first add the new Redirect URI to your app in that provider’s console.

Do I need to do anything?
No. The update renames the plugin in place; nothing needs setting up again.

Where has the menu gone?
It is now called Media Library Manager and sits lower in the WordPress side menu, after Settings.

My bookmark says page=mediavault-tools. Does it still work?
Yes. Addresses that start page=mediavault- (or page=mv-support) are forwarded to the matching page=mlm- screen. You can update the bookmark to the new address whenever you like.
