  1. Open the Setup Wizard and go to the “Cron mode” step.
  2. Add define( 'DISABLE_WP_CRON', true ); to wp-config.php.
  3. Copy the crontab line shown and add it to your server’s crontab (or an external uptime monitor).
  4. Click “Test that my site can reach its trigger”. You want an HTTP 200.
  5. Finish the wizard, then run a Health Check to confirm everything is green.
