↩️ Scenario: Recover a file deleted by mistake
Open Dashboard → Recycle Bin, find the file and click Restore — it comes back with the same URL and ID. If it has already passed the retention period, restore it from your cloud or local backup instead.
1. Open the Recycle Bin

✓ Yes — still in the bin Click Restore Attachment record and file are put back File returns to the Media Library Same URL and ID — references resolve again | ✗ No — already purged Backup was enabled? A copy was made before permanent deletion Restore it from your backup destination Cloud or local drive; otherwise it cannot be recovered |
💡 The retention period (Settings) decides how long you have. Restoring before expiry is always the cleanest recovery.
