📝 Files with Notes

Files with Notes shows every media file that has a private note attached. Notes are visible only inside MediaVault — they do not appear on your site’s front end or in the standard WordPress Media Library.

Use notes to record context: why a file exists, who to consult before deleting it, or any information your team needs to know.

Notes can be added from the Media Usage Map panel in the Media Library, or by clicking a file row in the Unlinked Media Files list.

Export all files with notes as a CSV for offline review or client handover.
