The auto-scan runs a full library scan automatically on a schedule, so your unlinked files list is always up to date without manual intervention.

Results are cached — the main screen loads instantly using the last scan’s data. A fresh scan only runs at the scheduled time or when you click 🔍 Run Full Scan.

Daily is recommended for sites with active content teams. Weekly suits smaller or less frequently updated sites.
