Timetable — Two-week rotas (A / B)

Within a term you can run a two-week rota.

Two-week rota (A / B). Set the term’s pattern to “Two-week rota” on the Terms tab. The grid then shows Week A or Week B automatically depending on which calendar week you’ve moved to with the week arrows. A banner above the grid tells you which you’re editing. Changes to Week A apply to every Week A across the term (and the same for B).

Timetable changes apply to the term’s pattern (the whole term, or a whole rota side) by default, which keeps the plan predictable. When you need a one-off, navigate to that week and press Customise just this week to change it in isolation (and Reset to normal to drop it again). To vary who attends an individual session, open the session and set the pupils there.

When you press Publish sessions, the plan is written out week by week, so pupils, parents and staff always see the correct week and the right rota side.
