Feedback surveys & reviews

Ask clients for feedback automatically after a booking. Under Pet Central → Surveys you build a separate set of questions for each booking type (Groomer / Walker / Sitter / Trainer) — questions can be a 1–5 rating, yes/no, short text, a paragraph, or multiple choice.

When a booking is marked completed, the client gets one email with a Leave feedback button (your survey) and buttons for any review links you add (Google, Trustpilot, Facebook). Their survey answers are saved on the booking and gathered on the client’s record, with an average rating.

In Follow-up timing & reviews you set when it sends (immediately, or 1 day / 2 days / 1 week later) and how often the same client is asked (every booking, once every 30 or 90 days, or once ever) — so regular clients like weekly walks aren’t asked every time. Paste your review links once and they appear in every follow-up.

You can turn surveys off for an individual pet on its profile. Each client also has an override on their record (always / never), which takes precedence over the pet setting.

Example

A groom is completed on Friday. Two days later the owner gets one email: How did we do? They tap Leave feedback for 5 stars and a note, then tap Review us on Google. The survey shows on the booking and rolls up on their record.

FAQ

Can each service ask different questions?
Yes — the builder is per booking type, so grooming, walking and sitting each have their own survey.

When does the email go out?
Whenever you choose: immediately on completion, or 1 day, 2 days or 1 week later. A background job sends the delayed ones.

Where do I get my review links?
Google gives a “write a review” link from your Business Profile (or via your Place ID); Trustpilot is your evaluate URL; Facebook is your page’s reviews tab. Paste them in Follow-up timing & reviews.

Is it OK to only ask happy customers?
No — Google, Trustpilot and Facebook prohibit “review gating” and enforce it. The same request goes to every client regardless of their feedback, and there are no incentives. That keeps you (and Pet Central) compliant.

Won’t regular clients get spammed?
Set “How often per client” to once every 30/90 days or once ever, so weekly walkers aren’t asked after every walk.

Can I stop surveys for a nervous client or pet?
Untick surveys on the pet, or set the client override to Never. The client override always wins.
