More

More is a screen, not a menu. Everything that is not the day, the diary or a client lives on it, in three groups.

Your work

My availability is the days and hours you can be booked and any days off — the business uses it so customers are only offered times you are actually free. Classes appears only if you train, because nobody else has anything to put in it.

This app

Settings holds the form: which service you open on, your swipe actions, GPS accuracy, screen-awake and your colour. Add to home screen shows only while the app is not already installed. Help & guides opens this drawer.

Email is there for whoever manages the business. It is the answer to “did that go?” — the last thirty messages the business sent, each with who it went to, when, and a green Sent or an amber Not sent beside it. Tap any of them to read the message itself, exactly as the customer got it. Every one also carries a button: Send again for something that went, Try again for something that did not. Anything that could not be sent sits above the history under Waiting to send, with a Try again now button; on a working site that block is not there at all.

Account

Who you are signed in as, at the top of the screen, and the way to sign out. Worth doing on a shared phone.

Every row says what it does underneath it. “Availability” and “Settings” are both nouns that could mean four things each, and a row you have to tap to identify is a row you tap twice.

Example

A new member of staff opens More on their first morning, sets their working days, turns the swipe actions to the two they will actually use, and adds the app to their home screen — without anyone having to show them where any of it was.

FAQ

What is the Email row?
What the business has sent, most recent first, and anything it could not send. Only people who can manage the business see it, because it shows customers’ addresses.

I took a booking — how do I check the emails went?
Open Email under More. The customer’s acknowledgement and your own new-request alert should both be at the top of Recently sent, timed within a second of the booking. If either is missing or marked as not sent, that is the thing to act on.

Can I read what was actually sent?
Yes — tap the message. It opens exactly as it left, logo and all, which is the quickest way to settle “what did you send me?” while somebody is on the phone. There is a Send again button on that screen too.

One message opens but is blank.
A very large message — usually one with photos in it — is recorded without keeping a copy, because storing it would put megabytes in the history. The screen says so. The record that it went is there; the wording is not.

What do Send again and Try again do?
Both send that message once more, from the copy the history kept. They are the same action named for what it means where you are standing: Try again on something that never went, Send again on something that did and needs sending a second time — a customer who has lost their confirmation, say. You are asked to confirm either way, because it puts a real email in somebody’s inbox.

One message has no button.
A very large message — usually one with photos in it — is recorded without keeping a copy, because storing it would put megabytes in the history. There is nothing to send again, so nothing is offered.

What does Waiting to send mean?
Those messages could not be sent at all — your mail server refused them and your website could not carry them either. They are not lost: each is tried again after five minutes, then fifteen, then an hour. Nothing queues there on the way out, so on a normal day the block is absent.

Can I see an email before the customer gets it?
Not from this screen — by the time anything appears here it has already been sent, or already failed. Use Email testing, the row just above: it pauses sending for five minutes and redirects every message to you instead of the customer, so you see exactly what they would have received.

I pressed Try again and nothing went.
Then your mail server still is not answering, and the messages stay where they are. Pressing it does not use up a message’s attempts — it is a free extra chance, so press it as often as you like.

Where did Settings go?
It is one row on More rather than the whole of it. The form is unchanged.

I train, but there is no Classes row.
The row follows the service you are on, not the services you own. Switch to the Trainer pill at the top and it appears.

There is no “Add to home screen” row.
Then it is already installed — you are running it as an app, not in a browser tab.

Are these settings shared with my colleagues?
No. Everything on this screen is yours: your hours, your swipe actions, your colour. Business-wide settings live in the WordPress admin.
