Before & after

Capture a before and an after photo as a dated pair. They build up on the pet’s profile — handy for social posts and to settle any “you cut my dog” disputes.

On a booking, this box shows that visit’s photos. Everything else the animal has is folded underneath as Earlier visits — there to look at, and not deletable from here, because they belong to a different visit.

A scruffy-to-smart before-and-after pair becomes a social post and proof of condition if a client later disputes a nick.

FAQ

Can I add before/after photos without the app?
Yes. Open the booking in the admin and use the Before & after photos section to pick images from your media library, then update the booking. They are saved to the pet’s record against that booking, exactly as the app does.

Are the photos dated?
Yes — each pair is timestamped.

Where are they stored?
On the pet’s profile.

A brand-new booking was showing old photos.
Fixed in 2.569.0. The photographs are filed against the animal, which is right, and the box on a booking was drawing the animal’s whole history rather than that visit’s — so a booking made a minute ago opened looking like work that had already been done. It now shows this visit’s photos, with the rest folded away underneath.

Where do I see every set for one animal?
On the pet’s own record, in the Before & after box — every set ever taken for that animal, newest first, each with its date and treatment and a link to the booking it came from. Photos are still added and removed on the booking itself, so each set stays attached to the visit it belongs to.
