Bookings calendar

The Bookings → Calendar page shows your schedule as a Week view (Mon–Sun columns, each booking a colour-coded card) or a single-page Month view (a proper month grid with each booking as a small coloured bar, coloured by service or by team member, with a legend). Use the Week / Month toggle, the arrows or Today to move around, and click any card or bar to open that booking.

When you have more than one team member, a team row appears: pick Everyone for the group calendar, or a person to see just their bookings. If you’ve set up tables/groomers on Availability, a resource selector appears too.

In the staff app the Calendar screen has the same ideas: Day and Week are lists, and Month is a proper grid with each booking as a small coloured bar. The Colour dropdown is set to auto by default: with Everyone selected and work shared between two or more people it colours by person, and otherwise (one person’s work, nobody assigned, or a single person picked) it colours by service — you can always force service or team, and the team dropdown to see one person or everyone. Tap a day to open it, or a bar to open the booking. Your own sync link is in the app under Settings → Sync to my calendar.

Sync to your own calendar: open Sync to Google, Apple or Outlook calendar at the bottom and subscribe to the link — your bookings then appear in that app automatically (one-way, refreshed about hourly). There’s a link for all bookings and one for just your own. Keep the links private; you can regenerate them if a link leaks.

Example

You flip to Month to eyeball how full next month is, switch the team row to “Sam” to see just Sam’s walks, then paste the sync link into Google Calendar so every booking shows alongside your personal life.

FAQ

How do I get bookings into Google Calendar?
Open “Sync to Google, Apple or Outlook”, copy the link, then in Google Calendar go to Other calendars → + → From URL and paste it. It updates automatically.

Is the sync two-way?
No — it’s one-way (Pet Central → your calendar). Editing an event in Google won’t change the booking. Manage bookings in Pet Central.

What do the month-bar colours mean?
In Month view you choose: Colour by Service (the default) or Colour by Team member — handy in the Everyone view to see at a glance who is doing what. A small legend under the grid names each colour. In Week view, card colours show status (amber = pending, green = confirmed, blue = completed, red = cancelled, violet = meet & greet).

I picked a person and nothing showed.
Those bookings probably aren’t assigned to anyone yet. Choose Unassigned to see them, then open one and set who’s doing it. Everyone always shows the lot.

Can each team member have their own calendar?
Yes — pick them in the team row for their own view, and the sync panel lists a separate link per team member. Each link only shows that person’s own bookings, so you can hand it straight to them. Everyone gives the shared group calendar.

Can I get the team colours in Google Calendar?
Yes. Google colours whole calendars rather than individual events, so add each team member’s link as its own calendar in Google, then set that calendar’s colour to match the swatch shown beside their name. Your Google view then matches Month view’s “Colour by team member”.

Someone got a sync link who shouldn’t have it.
Click Regenerate all links. Every link (yours, all bookings, and each team member’s) is replaced, so old subscriptions stop updating — then re-share the new ones.
