Treatments & price
On a booking, under Money. Everything that is being charged for, what each one costs, and the two ways to change what the customer actually pays.
The treatments
The main treatment and anything added to it, each at its own price — a sale price where the treatment is on sale. Add or change treatments opens the same picker as Finish up; adding one lengthens the booking as well as the bill.
A discount
Take an amount off or a percent off the subtotal. It shows as its own line, and it appears on the invoice as its own line too — a bill that quietly comes to less is one the customer cannot check.
A percentage follows the treatments: add a nail clip to a booking with 10% off and the discount grows with it.
One treatment’s price
Each price is editable on its own. A figure changed here is agreed for this visit — the treatment’s own price is what the next booking starts from, and the box is outlined to show which prices were set on this booking rather than taken from the price list. Clear the box to put it back.
Or type the total
Put a figure in Total to charge and that is the price, whatever the treatments add up to. The discount is cleared when you do — two ways of saying “charge them £40” that between them make it £36 is the kind of arithmetic you hear about from a customer. Use the sum puts it back.
Whichever way it is set, that total is what the invoice is raised for, what a deposit is worked out from, and what the dashboards count.
Example
A matted coat takes an extra forty minutes. The groomer adds De-matting at £12, then knocks £5 off because the owner is a regular — subtotal £60, less £5, £55 to pay, and the invoice shows all three lines.
FAQ
I typed a total and now the discount box does nothing.
That is deliberate. A typed total is the answer on its own; the discount would be a second one. Tap Use the sum to go back to the treatments, and the discount works again.
I added a treatment and the price changed.
It follows the treatments unless you have typed a total, in which case it stays exactly as you left it.
Does the customer see the discount?
Yes — as its own line on the invoice, with the percentage where you used one.
The invoice is already raised.
Changing the price here does not rewrite an invoice that already exists. Edit that invoice under Money, or credit it and raise a new one.
A finished visit says it is free but the treatments show a price.
That happened where a booking’s price had never been written down: the panel worked it out from the treatments, and the status did not. Fixed — finishing a visit now asks the treatments too. For a booking already marked free, open Finish up and use Raise the invoice on the money step.
Can I charge more than the treatments come to?
Yes. Type the higher figure; the invoice carries the difference as an Adjustment line so it still adds up.
